The Department of Industrial Economics and Technology Management provides education in CSR at Master and PhD level and as single courses, both in English and Norwegian.

Courses in English

Master level 

The option here is to take a master degree in Industrial Ecology. With this master, you are qualified to write a master thesis on CSR with supervision from our department. You find more information on this program on the web-pages for the Industrial Ecology Programme (IndEcol) at NTNU.

Master level

A new master program in Safety, Health, and Environmental management will welcome the first students in fall 2008. Here there will be possibilities to write the master thesis on CSR. Necessary requirements will be three years within engineering disciplines. You find more information on the program here.

Considering an engineering education in sustainable development? NTNU ranks No.1 in Engineering Education for Sustainability in Europe

A report ranks NTNU as the No.1 in Europe in Engineering Education for Sustainable Development (EESD).

The Engineering Education Observatory evaluated both the commitment of the university to education in sustainability at the undergraduate level and the availability of Master and PhD level specialization. With its long track record of courses for engineering students and the MSc and PhD program in industrial ecology, NTNU comes out on top, narrowly beating its closest rival, the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm.
